Needless to say, Anne Klinge’s performance on Britain’s Got Talent literally put all the judges “at their feet”. After introducing herself, the German native began putting on an impressive puppet show unlike any of the judges had ever seen before. And the truth is, it’s not a puppet show we’re used to, or might normally think of… And the truth is, we’ve never seen anything like it either! As the black curtain falls to reveal one of Anne’s legs dressed as a man, with a wig, the gasps from the audience began to mount steadily, followed by Alesha Dixon saying “Ohh no!”
It turns out that with a “foot theatre”, Kingle tells a funny love story using music, keeping the judges and the audience attentive from start to finish. The short musical with which she surprises us is just one act from Anne’s vast repertoire, which includes operas and children’s shows of all kinds.
