Ole Christensen decided to start his own business and bought a small workshop where he made decorations for facades and furniture. His business went on quite successfully for many years. However, after the 30s, furniture was no longer very popular and Christinen decided to start making smaller items. So in 1932 the workshop was founded, which eventually became one of the most famous toy manufacturers in the world. At first, the company produced only simple wooden toys, as well as ironing boards, garden ladders, and other wooden household items.

Over time, wooden toys began to be made prefabricated, then with the addition of plastic, and finally the famous LEGO bricks appeared, which to this day do not cease to delight children.
In the city of Bollun, in honor of the author of Lego, LEGOland was built. This is a construction city that resembles a copy of our world. The huge lego park is divided into several zones, each of which has a specific plot. In the very center of the park there is a miniature copy of the planet with cities, rivers, cars, made from lego bricks. Everything is very realistic. This is a fascinating mini-world in which you can see in detail everything that is actually in our world.
There are many different monuments and fabulous sculptures in the park. In front of the entrance the famous Hans Christian Andersen sits on a bench. Legoland has a pirate island with exciting carousels and attractions, as well as a ninja world, a wild west and a polar world. Another fascinating area is the world of imagination, where there is a huge aquarium․
