Shocking footage captures a massive golden eagle attempting to fly off with an 8-year-old girl.

Nature can be wild and unpredictable. In Australia, danger seems to be everywhere—on land, in the sea, and even in the air. Creatures like spiders, snakes, and sharks are all potential threats.

The rainforest is no different, with dangers from spiders, snakes, fish, insects, and jungle cats lurking. And if you find yourself in Kyrgyzstan, it’s wise to stay alert, especially for threats from above.

I’m referring to golden eagles. These massive birds may look like regular birds of prey, but they’re more akin to flying dinosaurs.

As reported by AKI Press, a golden eagle recently attacked an 8-year-old girl near Lake Issyk-Kul’s southern shore.

The girl was walking through a restricted area meant for displaying these large hunting birds. Fortunately, she only needed a few stitches and made a full recovery. Experts noted that the bird wasn’t hunting and would not have survived the incident.

It’s one thing to keep your small pets safe from birds of prey, but it’s another when your own safety is at risk.
